Polymer Clay Earth-Brown Necklace, inspired by a Celtiberian artwork, the Necklace of the Priestess of Sun
This very special polymer clay necklace has been inspired by the Celtiberian Necklace featured in the National Archeological Museum of Madrid (Museo Arqueologico National de Madrid).
The original celtiberian artwork is made of fired clay and is dated in the 4th century BC (Iron Age II). It was found at tumb 53 in Navafria necropolis in Clares (Province of Guadalajara, Castile-La Mancha, Spain).
The Necklace it has inspired is made of polymer clay, I have made every bead by hand mixing different colors for each one to achieve that perfect non-uniform final effect. As the original has no claps, I have mounted the beads on an elastic string.
Perfect if you like ancient jewelry or simply wearing ethnic-like earthy jewelry in Summer or any beautiful sunny day!
Necklace's Circumference: approx. 60 cm
Note: this necklace is inspired by the celtiberic artwork, but is not a reproduction
